What to expect
When you walk through our doors, expect a warm, casual atmosphere where you can just relax and be yourself. We currently meet in a hotel conference room — simple, comfortable, and a little different, but that fits us just fine. We believe the church isn’t a building, it’s the people who gather to worship — and we’re glad to be building that community together.
When you arrive at the Aberdeen Altens Hotel, our meeting room is directly on the left as you enter the lobby — you won't have a hard time finding us! Parking is free for all those joining us for church, however please note that you will need to enter your vehicle registration at the lobby upon arrival.
Our Sunday service is about an hour long and is built to be enjoyable for all ages and families. We’re a newer church that’s still growing, and we love that — it means there’s a real opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning.
OUR FAITH
What is a Baptist Church?
At our core, we are Christians. We follow Jesus Christ — His life, His teachings, His death, and His resurrection. Like believers across the globe and throughout history, we hold to the truth that salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone. In that way, we’re part of the bigger family of Christianity.
Within that family, Baptists have their own identity — shaped by a few convictions we hold dear:
BELIEVER’S BAPTISM
Baptism is a personal, public declaration — an outward expression of an inward faith. When someone chooses to follow Jesus, baptism is how they say “yes” to that commitment in front of their community.
DIRECT ACCESS TO GOD
We believe every person can come to God just as they are — no barriers, no prerequisites, just an open invitation. God isn't distant or hard to reach; He is for everyone, and it's through a personal relationship with Jesus that anyone, no matter their background or their story, can know Him.
THE BIBLE
The Bible is our guide for life. Scripture shapes how we worship, how we live, and how we understand God. We take it seriously, study it together, and let it speak into everyday life.
COMMUNITY
We believe community is woven into the heart of what it means to follow Jesus. We share life together, support each other, and do our best to be there for one another — celebrating the good times and leaning on each other through the hard ones, because growing in faith is a lifelong journey that none of us has to walk alone.
